MEDICAL ASTROLOGICAL ASPECT OF HRIDROGA W.S.R TO CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE –A CASE STUDY Authors: Pujar R* And Khandare S
ABSTRACT
Marmas are the vital points in our body, three marmas are specially identified as high risk
centers where an injury either external or internal, may end in death. Hence they are called
Sadyah pranahara marma (immediate death when affected). Hridaya is one such centre. Any
peeda or bada to Hridaya is called as Hridroga. In contemporary science it can be probably
consider as cardiovascular diseases. One among cardiovascular disease is congenital heart
disease which occurs in live birth. Many times the cause of which are unknown. In Ayurveda
when a cause of disease are not known then it’s considered as daiva or purvajanma krita papa
karma (deeds of past life) which can be understood by position of Rashi (Sign), Grahas
(constellations) at the time of birth through astrology. Therefore in present article as Medical
astrological aspect congenital heart disease is assessed by considering position of Grahas
(constellations) Rashi (sign) and Nakshatra (stars).
