ABSTRACT

A SIR model with treatment class and bacteria class for Typhoid was formulated. Existence and uniqueness of the solution of the model is verified. The basic reproduction number is calculated. The local stability of disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium were verified. Numerical analysis was carried out for the data of Odisha. The graphs were plotted to visualize the stability behaviour of the state variables for different values of parameters. Keywords: SIR model, Typhoid, stability analysis, basic reproduction number.
