COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENT CHROMATOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUES FOR STABILITY INDICATING ANALYSIS OF ANTIPSYCHOTIC DRUGS Authors: Dadheech P* And Goyal A
ABSTRACT
Stability indicating analysis of antipsychotic drugs is critical in ensuring the efficacy and safety of
pharmaceutical formulations. Chromatographic techniques play a pivotal role in this process, providing
reliable and accurate data on the stability and degradation products of these drugs. This review presents
a comprehensive analysis of the comparative effectiveness of different chromatographic techniques,
including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Ultra Performance Liquid
Chromatography (UPLC), High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Capillary
Electrophoresis (CE), Super Critical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) and Gas Chromatography (GC), in
the stability indicating analysis of antipsychotic drugs. By evaluating the strengths, limitations, and
applications of each technique, this review aims to provide insights into their suitability for different
types of drug formulations and highlight the emerging trends and future prospects in this vital area of
pharmaceutical analysis.
