ABSTRACT

The present review article focuses on the estimation of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir and its combinations by various analytical techniques. Sofosbuvir is in a class of antivirals called nucleotide hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B polymerase inhibitors. Velpatasvir is in a class of antivirals called HCV NS5A replication complex inhibitors. This review discusses the estimation of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir by using various analytical tools like UV-Visible spectrophotometer, Fluorimetry, Capillary Electrophoresis, High–Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), Liquid Chromatography (LC), Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (LC-MS/MS), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (UPLC-MS/MS). This review enlightens the various solvents and conditions suitable for the estimation of Sofosbuvir and Velpatasvir and its combinations.
