ABSTRACT

The key intend of this review is to estimate the Ciprofloxacin and its combination of drugs by various analytical techniques. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic agent belonging to the class Fluoroquinolones used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections and pneumonia. This review enlighten the different analytical techniques like UV Spectrophotometry, chromatographic techniques like High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), High performance thin layer chromatography(HPTLC) and hyphenated techniques like Liquid chromatography-Mass spectroscopy(LC-MS), Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (UPLC-MS)are discussed for the estimation of Ciprofloxacin and its combination of drugs by various researches.
