ABSTRACT

Objective of present research A Comparative study of environmental education awareness of students in government and private higher secondary schools in present time has done. For this, 160 students were selected in class 11 of higher secondary schools located in Agra district, for the measurement of awareness, environmental awareness ability measure was tested by the test scale, the critical ratio test was used for the analysis of the data. From the results it was found that the awareness of the students of higher secondary government schools was found to be higher than that of the students of higher secondary private schools and the awareness of environmental education was found to be lower in the girls students of private schools as compared to the boys students of government schools of higher secondary schools but statistics A significant effect was not found from the approach, in a comparative study of the awareness of environmental education among the girls students of higher secondary government and private schools, significant effect was found.
