ABSTRACT
Cancer continues to be the most unconquerable and grievous medical condition in developing
countries. In the present study, a series of coumarin-triazole hybrid compounds were
designed and synthesized for anticancer activity. For all compounds, MTT assay was done by
using four different cell lines like Hela (Cervical cancer cell line), MCF-7 (Breast cancer cell
line), A-549 (Lung cancer cell line), and IMR-32 (Neuroblastoma cell line). Most of the
compounds showed moderate to good efficacy against different cancer cell lines. Among all,
the compound 7h exhibited the best anticancer activity against the MCF-7 cell line.
