ABSTRACT
The assessment of subsurface water quality is very essential for human beings knowing its importance suitability for standard quality analysis in and around Chidambaram Taluk.
Subsurface Water samples were collected from 10 different zones of Chidambaram Taluk and analyzed various characteristics of water samples. The results showed that many of the subsurface water sample quality parameters from residential areas above the permissible limits of BIS and WHO.
